About Me

Hey! Glad you've stopped by! My name's Jenny...(Jennifer Brook thus Jennybrook...) I'm married to the most awesome, crazy guy ever who always keeps life interesting and we've got four equally awesome kids! They range from 15 to 3 and we homeschool. Every day is a journey. Homeschooling, ministry, art and craftiness...those are the things I probably spend most of my time on.

I have always considered myself a person who can do a lot of different things semi-well, not just one thing really well. I am not professional writer. Or a chef. Or an artist. Or a teacher. But I love to try and do so many different things that I thought it would be fun to share my successes and failures with others. Hopefully I can be an encouragement. There are a few things that really inspire me in my life; my God, my hubby, and my kids. I love homeschooling and know that it's what the Lord wants for our family! Besides homeschooling my kids, I LOVE to read, watch anything considered nerdy (namely Doctor Who...actually, anything British too), being crafty, and cooking with the family for our Foodie Fridays. I enjoy anything DIY that I can use for my house, parties, kids, or self- probably because I'm so cheap and I figure I can make it! Our passion/ministry at church is youth now turned full time for my husband. It's such a blessing to be making a living while serving the Lord in many capacities...he's a jack-of-all-trades there, I suppose, with NextGen pastoring, media, facilities, etc. So I guess we both make a living of needing to be good at a wide range of things!
